Jeffrey L. Austin has been an associate in the firm of Keis | George since March, 2000.  Jeff is focusing his practice to providing comprehensive, yet affordable Elder Law Services including Estate Planning (preparing and revising Trusts, both revocable and irrevocable; Wills, and Powers of Attorney, and Asset Protection), Estate Administration, (including Trust Settlement, Probate, and Guardianships), Ohio Medicaid planning and applications, and Veteran benefit services to individuals and families throughout the Northeast Ohio area.
His practice with the firm also consists of insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, product liability, contract disputes, defamation, wrongful death and bad faith on the trial court and appellate court level. Prior to joining Keis | George, Jeff did insurance defense work for a Columbus, Ohio firm.

Mr. Austin is a graduate of the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar, U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern District Ohio and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in 1998.

Mr. Austin graduated from The Ohio State University in 1994 with a major in Political Science. Mr. Austin is a member of the Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and Ohio State Bar Associations.

Jeff is married with a young daughter and enjoys softball, archery, and golf.
