Product Recalls

As we are seeing more cases of property damage as a direct result of a defective product, missed subrogation files can affect your bottom line. As the insured wants to get back into their home as quickly as possible and begin restoration, it is the property adjuster’s responsibility to launch a comprehensive investigation and contact an attorney.

Product defects

Distinguishing a solid file for recovery can be complicated. When a defective product causes a loss, the manufacturer of the product, the wholesaler, and the distributor may be liable. Therefore, an adjuster can stay informed of and identify products of issue through emerging trends and other reputable resources.

Product recalls

This is why it is so important we bring these recalls to your attention. Doing so, keeps our network of adjusters informed of emerging trends and may help establish a product as being defective or of issue.
