Product Recalls

More and more, we are seeing property damage caused by water and fire as a direct result of a defective product. We are trying to work with our clients to bundle these cases to increase the settlement value and decrease your operational costs associated with individually managing each claim.

Consumer Product Safety Commission product recalls

It may not always be obvious, but there is a cause for every loss. That is why it is important to identify these losses in the early stages of the claim. Therefore, we would like to remind you of the following Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalls:

  1. Goodman Manufacturing Recalls Modular Blowers Due to Fire Hazard

Per the CPSC, the labels found on the serial plate have incorrect electrical information that could result in installers and servicers using undersized wiring or incorrect fuse/circuit breaker parts, posing a fire hazard.

  1. Goodman Company Recalls Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps Due to Burn and Fire Hazards

Per the CPSC, the outdoor fan motors can overheat, posing burn and fire hazards.

  1. Gree Recalls 12 Brands of Dehumidifiers Due to Serious Fire and Burn Hazards
