Claire M. Connolly is an Associate Attorney with Keis George, LLP, concentrating her practice on insurance subrogation and litigation. She represents insurance carriers in pursuing recovery of losses throughout Illinois, handling matters from initial case development and suit filing through arbitration, trial, and post-judgment proceedings.

Claire has more than a decade of litigation experience representing insurance companies in a broad range of subrogation matters involving automobile and property losses. An experienced trial attorney, she has first-chaired more than 25 jury trials to verdict and has handled numerous bench trials and arbitrations throughout the Chicago area.

Claire approaches each matter with a focus on developing the evidence necessary to establish liability and damages and positioning the case for efficient resolution or trial.

Before focusing her practice on insurance subrogation, Claire represented plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, and medical malpractice litigation. Her experience representing individual plaintiffs, combined with her years representing insurance carriers, provides her with a broad litigation background and perspective in evaluating, developing, and trying cases. Claire also shares her litigation experience through continuing legal education programs on courtroom practice, case development, and trial preparation.

Claire received her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. During law school, she participated in a judicial externship allowing her to observe contested hearings and jury trials, further developing her interest in litigation and courtroom advocacy. Claire earned her Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Claire’s professional affiliations have included the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.

Outside the office, Claire enjoys running, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
