Mary Kate earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University in May 2022 and received her J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law in May 2025. During her time in law school, Mary Kate served as Managing Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review , competed on the Jessup International Moot Court Team, and worked as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant. She also participated in the Peer Mentor Program, where she provided guidance and support to first-year law students. Mary Kate was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2025 and the Illinois Bar in January 2026. Outside of her legal work, Mary Kate enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
