Herbert L. Nussle has practiced subrogation law for more than twenty-nine years. A senior partner with Keis George LLP, Herb is licensed to practice in the state of Ohio and the Federal District Courts of Indiana. Solely focused on property subrogation and heading the firm’s Early Involvement Strategy for investigating new losses, Herb concentrates his practice on product liability, fire and explosions, utility failures, and construction claims.

Herb has litigated hundreds of property subrogation cases, investigated hundreds of complex commercial and residential property claims, and has provided legal advice in other matters. Herb has structured the firm’s investigative approach, which has led to millions in recoveries and damages.

Herb applies his previous experience in risk management and accounting to his practice. Herb works collaboratively and shares responsibility with clients to ensure our services and resulting operations maintain profitability for both parties. It is due to these techniques that Herb has lectured on a wide variety of topics ranging from Closing Arguments in Litigation Tactics to Dealing with a New Attorney. Herb has even taught classes to subrogation executives, insurance professionals, and attorneys on Investigative Issues and Common Subrogation Problems.

Herb is currently a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals and the Ohio Bar Association. In 2014, Herb was recognized as a Legal Leader. A graduate of The Ohio State University and Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Herb is a baseball, basketball, and golf enthusiast.
