Keis George LLP is pleased to announce associate attorney Kevin F. Keeley has been promoted to partner. Based in the Chicago, Illinois office, Keeley is a key contributor to the firm’s complex litigation practice and public affairs.
Kevin F. Keeley promoted to partner
Since joining Keis George in 2011, Keeley has successfully represented the firm in thousands of legal proceedings with a lasting impact on both his clients and the firm. While Keeley is an accomplished litigator, it’s his interpersonal skills with clients, insureds, and opponents that set him apart.
“Kevin has been a de facto partner at the firm and has helped run our Chicago office with me for some time. His promotion is well-deserved,” confides Brad Krapfl, partner and managing attorney at the firm’s Chicago, Illinois office. “Kevin is a brilliant litigator, a great communicator and he works well with clients, the courts and everyone he comes across. He is a good man and a great asset to this firm.”
Keeley has been recognized as a top-rated Illinois attorney for his achievements in plaintiff civil litigation. As a three-time Rising Star recipient, Keeley is among the top 2 ½ percent of lawyers in Illinois age forty and under or in practice for less than ten years.
Keeley served as a law clerk in the private sector while in law school for firms specializing in personal injury, premise liability, and insurance defense. It was these experiences that sparked the passion for civil litigation that persists today. Warren S. George, managing litigation partner, believes Keeley is the next generation of attorneys at Keis George, noting “Being an attorney now is very different than it was ten, twenty years ago. Kevin is a stealthy litigator but he intuitively relates to people on a very personal level. The way he selflessly manages his practice and works with people…it’s moving. Keis George is honored to have him.”
